Just got the big silver AMD XP2700+ running. This thing is a bear. 1 G PC2700 ram and the whole nine yards. Started crunching Seti work units to see what the processing time will be. My old one took an average of 9 hours 20 minutes per work unit. Curious to see what it will do, looking for times around 4 hours per unit.

The 'et's' are much smaller than previously imagined, and are already at your house! Don't scratch too hard, they have lasers

Just averaged out the last 6 work units and it's averaging 3 hours 12 minutes per work unit. Lacks just a few minutes of being 3 times faster than my old setup.

WTG you'll soon hit the 1000 Mine usually takes around 4 -5 hours but a couple took 10 hours. The fastest it did was 3 hrs 1 minute. ;D
