I have boiled them & baked them, I always buy a few around saint patricks day,cuz I like em' so I was thinking,why can't I barbecue one? has anybody done it?

Nope , never, Do they need to be cooked along time to be tender? I would think on a rotisery on low heat it would be OK

How was it? anygood? we'll have to wait,I was at my son's friends house last night working on their computer and was a little late and my wonderful wife boiled it for me so it was done when I came home..*(kisses her)* I have one more in the freezer,and I will try it on the bbq soon.

Hi Dan! Marsha tells me that corned beef doesn't need a lot of cooking to get tender. (maiden name Donohue:) ) She suggested just rinsing the salts off well, and just put it on the grill.
I'd think you could use your favorite baste, to good effect.
By the way, cabbage grills well also, but use a fine mesh to avoid losing pieces. I quarter it, and use skewers.

Hi John ! thanks to you and Marsha for the reply, I simply like to try different cooking methods all the time,I really enjoy cooking,it's a de-stressing thing to do for me,and I do alot of cooking,,,,,,,when I try the bbq method on the brisket,I will let you know. later,,Dan
