I don't use recipes, I make it up as I go along. This is my version of Yorkie pud
Make some batter with plain flour, milk and an egg. Put some oil in a shallow dish, heat it in a hot oven till the oil gets as hot as it can without igniting, pour in the batter and cook for about 20 - 30 mins. Yum ;D

Or even better...........
Cook some bangers (sausages) put them in the oil, pour over the batter as above and you get Toad in the Hole. Kid's favourite! ;D

Do ya know that up in Yorkshire they eat Yorkshire Pud as a starter, then they have their roast beef and veg. Strange huh? Hope there are no Yorkies reading this!

well ya' know, ed1, they now have a deluxe sized goerge foreman grills. You could just about grill anything you want with those. And they come in different colors. Kinda looks like the old apple notebooks, except bigger. ;D

I'll stick to the old propane grill. Like going out and sitting on the swing while waiting on food to cook. I need a wireless lan and a notebook so I can do this from the grill. Would be great with a web cam.
