I want a new pc so bad it's killing me. Let me throw up this question. Should I go all out for a top of the line mobo and a AMD2200XP or get a mid-range mobo and a AMD2600XP. The 2600's are still awfully pricey. Run about $190 more than a 2200. My idea was to get the top end mobo and I could upgrade processors in a year or so. What's your opinion?

Might as well go for the gusto, in a year or so, you will probably still be able to upgrade even if you get the top of the line now. Another $190 isn't to bad. I hope you realize if you do this, i am going to have to pout for about a week. ;D ;D ;D

The A7N8X is the one I like the best. I like anything Asus makes, they seem to be an arm & leg above the competition.

y not get top of the line a7n8x and an xp2100 thourogh breed processor and overclock many many ppl do this when buying one just look for aiuhb on hte chip and also on second set of numbers on the chip try to get one that the 9 and 10th numbers are 28 that means that you really just bought a underclocked xp 2800 which means you can overclock it to above or close to 2800 speeds if you so desire just my 2 cents
