Not quite. The PLO recognized Isreal's right to exist in 1993. It is mainly Hamas that wishes to carry on the armed struggle.

Hamas has also recognized Israel's right to exist on the pre-1967 borders. That recognition is subject to legal affirmation- as it should be. Currently, the only legal definition of Israel's borders is Resolution 181 of 1947. Tenuous it may be but that's all that Israel has got.- apart from tanks and illegal squatters.
