Does anyone have any experience with or an opinion of an anti-spyware program called "PestPatrol"?? It has been said to be better than AdAware, but unlike AdAware it also costs.

I agree, use Spybot, it works really great for me.

I use Spybot as well but I've bottled out of dumping the stuff in green.

I have PestPatrol and it works awesome.
I've never used Spybot, though, so I don't know what kind of features it has...
But for PestPatrol you get a cookie blocker, memory scanner, "KeyPatrol" which scans for key loggers, and constant updates.
The only "problem" I'd say is that you really want broadband, cause when you first install you'll have to make a LOT of updates, since it updates so frequently.
Also, I've had to completely re-install it a few times, which is annoying. It's coincidentally (or not) usually right after I do a "Security Update" for WinXP. That seems to mess with PestPatrol a lot.
