I'm using moz, at the moment, but I recall being able to turn off debugging in the ie tools, internet options, somewhere.
I can't even guess at what was formatted wrong according to ie, but the page works fine for moz.

I could go there, and check the source, and various parameters for web complience, but I'm not much good at making sense of all the info I'd get from moz's "checky" function.
I would only get a list of non complient stuff, and errors.
The fact that mozilla doesn't see the problem could be a point of varience between ms, and w3c code.

I just looked it over with ie6, and didn't see any error messages.
The only differences between the two browsers, is some text size differences, and a banner that says "vacancies" that only appears with IE>
Everything else, layout etc, are very similar

Went back, and used the w3c validator service, which returned that the page has a "FATAL" error, in that there is no "valid" doc type declared. May be the error/instruction that IE couldn't/wouldn't parse/resolve.

That's one of the things I like about mozilla, the "checky" plug-in has about 15 different validation engines, that can check any kind of coding, to see if it's up to various specifications.
I can just barely write enough code, to make a plain colored page, with a couple different font sizes.
All the php, css, and java, go waaayy over my poor old head.

I like IE5.5,,but maybe I should just upgrade to 6.0 ??

I got ie6 with my new computer, and much prefer it to the 5.0 I was running.
My old machine couldn't handle the load of 5.5
6 works a lot smoother, and hasn't crashed on me yet.

The page loads OK for me using IE6 SP1, Windows 2KP. I see other sites where everyone complains about IE6, but I've been using it since it first came out with no problems at all.
