Just Wondering. Office 2000 has quit working on me two times thus far and I've had to completely uninstall then reinstall it to get it to work both instances. Also, I wanted to test the poll feature.

I put Zero, anytime I have reinstalled it, it was because I reformatted.

That's what firewalls are all about John, you don't let the thing call home.

The strings I speak of, are the ones where bill decides to upgrade his program, and makes mine 'obselete', or 'unsupported'.
I can't call home myself, security's so tight on this box.
I have no problem with ms, other than they tie everything together, and you have to continually 'buy' the whole package.
I like software, that I can pick and choose to suit myself. That way, I can mix and match to suit my own style, and not have to buy another license.
