Calm down, it's not what you think. Ever had a video file that wouldn't play right or the audio was messed up. This is the software for you. Analyzes a video file and will tell you which codec are needed and all kinds of neat garbage. www.headbands.com/gspot/

Which ones do you need? If you use WMP9 there is only one that you need. Divx5.0.5 Get it at www.divx.com/divx/Install codec only not the player, you will be given the option when you start the install process.
