Ok here's a quickie anyone know why when i open IE its in a small box and not full screen or how i can change it? Any answers greatly appreciated.

I think you have to maximize it, then close it holding down the shift or ctrl key. I just think this, I dont knwo for sure.

the answer is here!!! maximize the window (funny square box, upper right), then open 'file' and click 'close'. and miracles: the next time you open it it will be maximized! (ed1 isn't the only one )

Thanks loren, i thought that was the way to do it but for some reason its not happening on my PC. obviously a glitch somewhere. Still I'm due to reformat this one soon so hopefully that will cure it. eeeer is it ok to call you loren or do you go by another name?

the only other way to do it is to go into IE properties and change the display properties....
I dont remember the exact path right now, but I will get back to you on it.

go into tools> internet options> advanced
click 'restore defaults' then redo the maximize/close thang
that might work, there is some thing else...but i am still chasing it.

pooh...it is there somewhere but i can't find it. you can choose whether a page is displayed full or tileable... but my brain fart is keeping me from finding it right now..
