Dow Jones Inc., which is suing Gator Corp. had an article on the front page and continued it to page A8, where they gave it 3/4 of a page of space, (a hell of a lot for the WSJ).

More and more people are becoming aware of spyware now. It's about time something was done to make it illegal.

WSJ is the WALL STREET JOURNAL which stalks me 5 days a week Interestingly, Gator is presenting itself in some legal battles as a company that fights for the rights of consumers. It claims that sites are taking away the rights of web users to use thier computer as they feel fit; this is an interesting angle and I'm half inclined to agree with them here. It's their lack of disclosure and sneaky methods of getting on people's computers that is the kicker....peopple whol want gator should be able to use it. look at this pro-Gator Cnet article news.cnet.com/investor/news/newsitem/0-9900-1028-20678254-0.htmlalso,here's a related snippet: A series of legal skirmishes over who owns the real estate on a computer user's screen is turning into a war. A federal court decision late last month gave a victory to online advertising companies like the Gator Corporation and WhenU Inc. over the Web sites of bigger companies. from New York Times Company Jul 7, 2003
