For about 4 days now I get this message when I try to send email. The message could not be sent because the server rejected the sender's e-mail address. The sender's e-mail address was 'XXX@XXX.com'. Subject '', Account: 'in.xxx.com (1)', Server: 'out.xxx.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '452 Space shortage, please try later', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 452, Error Number: 0x800CCC78 I haven't changed any settings and I can receive emails, what's going on?

Look like a mail server problem at you ISP, have you contacted them yet?

The "space shortage" looks a bit strange. Do you have a 'limited' account? Do you delete mail from the server after downloading it?
If it's hotmail, you may have exceeded the allowable space.

I haven't got a space limit as far as I'm aware. How do you delete mail from the server? I sent my isp an email from the website, got one of those automated reply things but that's all so far.

Depending on what e-mail app' you're using, the mail is either downloaded and deleted from the server, or downloaded, and left there.
It will be a setting in the options for the program you use.
My outlook express, automatically deletes everything off my ISP's server, but I have several other e-mail clients, that don't.
With most web based e-mail programs, you must delete the mail manually, to keep from running out of space.
Yahoo, and hotmail, with all the junkmail, tend to fill up fairly rapidly, and need to be cleaned out regularly.
I don't know how your ISP handles it, but your space may be filling up.

Especially Yahoo on the fill up problem. I bet I get at least 50 spams per day on my Yahoo account.
